To promote pride in the heritage of Ethiopian Jewry, Ben Yakir held its annual Sigd banquet in November. At Kiryat Yearim the students traveled to the East Talpiot Promenade in Jerusalem to take part in the central national celebration of Sigd for the Ethiopian Jewish community
