The Youth Aliyah Committee in Germany is continuing its close relationship with Youth Aliyah. According to Pava Raibstein, Head of Germany’s Youth Aliyah Committee the organization is funding more programs than ever. Over the past year these have included medical treatment for Ethiopian immigrants at Nitzana and air-conditioning / heating units for the Ben Yakir village as well as an allocation to improve security (fences, lighting, shelters etc.) there. At Hadassah Neurim the German Youth Aliyah Committee supports the Youth Aliyah Orchestra and helps students preparing for their matriculation exams, while at Ramat Hadassah Szold the Committee funds a glass design workshop (see photo).
