A new residential model has been successfully introduced at Hadassah Neurim this school year, which is designed to generate a more homely atmosphere for the students. Previously the students lived in groups of 22 with their counselors living outside of their accommodation. Now the first group of students have been housed in a unit of 15 teenagers with their own in-house counselor, and for each two groups a housemother, is living within the dormitory unit. The dormitories are being renovated to include a club and counselors accommodation. The new design and presence of the counselors has created a warmer, more family-like atmosphere for the students and all student housing at Hadassah Neurim is being developed on this model.
