Neurim Takes Gold in International High School Track & Field Competition


  
The Israeli National High School team took first place overall at the ISF World Championship in Istanbul Turkey. The team trains at Neurim, with three of the team members pupils at Neurim.

Neurim representatives also exelled in individual competitions. Yevgeni Minenko took the gold medal in the 110 meter hurdles event, and Igor Nozni took silver in the shot put event. Nozni is training for the 2008 Olympics. Nozni's younger brother, Anatoly, took bronze in the javelin event.

Neurim staff encourage pupils to excell in sport as a means of catalyzing academic excellence as well.
