Ben Yakir Hosts Hollywood

A group of film-makers and students from the US, Mexico, Germany and Israel visited Ben Yakir in June to find out about Jewish Agency support through Youth Aliyah for youth at risk. The fact-finding visit was in the framework of intensive workshops on film making sponsored by Partnership 2000 Tel Aviv-Los Angeles. While at Ben Yakir the visitors, who included many Hollywood professionals, inter-acted with students, learned about leading edge therapeutic methods and other enrichment activities including "Creating With Keshet". For the last two years this program has been supported by Keshet Broadcasting Co. through the Spirit of Israel. The program teaches students at Ben Yakir and Hadassah Neurim about TV and film making, photography, production, editing and other related skills.
