Nitzana's Solar Park Reflects Worldwide Support

The first phase of Nitzana's Solar Park is scheduled for completion in three months time. The dedication ceremony for the unique and innovative complex will take place on January 25th. The Solar Park has attracted donors from around the world including Jewish Agency, Keren Hayesod Austria, Keren Hayesod Belgium, Mark Levy (USA), SACTA-RASHI Foundation, Baran Project and Studio De Lange.

According to Nitzana Director David Palmach, the first phase of the Solar Park will comprise three clusters including a 15-meter solar tower containing a desert cooler and a water desalination installation powered by the sun.
