YA Australia Dedicates New Educational Center

The Lewinnek Educational Center was dedicated at Hadassah Neurim on June 9th by members of Youth Aliyah Australia. Sol Schonberger, Treasurer and Valerie Hosek, who is responsible for PR and publicity officially opened the Center which is named after John Lewinnek, who served as President of Youth Aliyah Australia for many years and brought to realizations many projects in Israel for Youth Aliyah and children at risk. The project was made possible following a bequest from his late nephew, Norbert Lewinnek, and with the support of Bernard Weiss, President of Youth Aliyah Australia. The new facility includes classrooms and a computer laboratory for 9th and 10th grade students.
