A new center to help children recovering from physical illnesses is being built at Nitzana.
The Bet Hachlama center will include dormitories for 50 children and a large complex of classrooms, computer rooms and an auditorium.
The aim of the center is to help children who have suffered from traumatic physical illnesses and need quality recovery time.
The rehabilitation center will be called Gruber House in honor of the family name of Mrs.
Boutillier, 84, a Holocaust survivor who is funding the project through JNF France.
Her son Jacques Boutillier visited Nitzana in March and participated in a successful steering committee meeting for the project.
The cornerstone for the rehabilitation center will be laid in the summer.
