Nearly 100 tenth and eleventh grade students successfully completed studies at Ramat Hadassah Szold’s new high school this year.
Next September the school will for the first time hold its full complement of 150 students in the recently completed school building put up with a generous donation from the Terrace Tower Group in Sydney in memory of the Late John Saunders through Keren Hayesod UIA Australia Young Leadership.
The new high school includes specialist studies in communications, science, agriculture and young entrepreneurship as well as general matriculation studies.
The new school responds to a vital need identified by Youth Aliyah back in the 1990’s when Ramat Hadassah Szold only had junior high grades seven to nine and it was observed that children leaving the village, who has progressed significantly while there, were regressing to bad habit at other high schools.
