A delegation of some 120 students from Youth Aliya villages, about half of whom were drawn from the villages that we support, visited Poland for a week-long visit to sites related to the rich history of Polish Jewry and the Holocaust shortly before Pesach in a program, now in its thirteenth year that is funded by the Hadassah women's organization.

The participants were chosen by the village staff for their behavior and achievement, and their behavior during their visit was truly exemplary.

For the first time this year, the delegation held a joint ceremony in Auschwitz with a delegation of soldiers from the IDF.
