A recently-completed survey among 52 graduates of the Ramat Hadassa Youth Aliya village who finished school between 2004-2008, revealed that 96% of them defined their time in the village as extremely positive and that 94% reported that the village provided a supportive environment. Most of the graduates are now doing their army service, and 84% of those involved in the survey reported that the village provided them with tools for life that had not been present in their home environment. Over 50% of the students finished high school with a full or partial matriculation certificate.
The results of the survey are being fed into the Jewish Agency measurement system, where they not only provide quantitative information about the impact of our educational intervention for youth-at-risk but also a benchmark for comparison of that impact in future years.
