Holocaust Day Brings Together Soldiers And Immigrants
Vladimir, 17, an outstanding student on the SELAH Science program and new immigrant from Ukraine, at Nitzana's Holocaust Day memorial ceremony
New immigrant students from Ethiopia and the Former Soviet Union commemorated Holocaust Day at Nitzana together with soldiers from the IDF's local brigade. For most of Nitzana's students, this was their initial Holocaust Day in Israel and also a first opportunity to talk with combat soldiers, who are defending the Jewish State's future existence.
