Human Warmth Between Nitzana And Denver

"The warmth of Nitzana reminds me of the warmth of Denver," said Marsha Gardenswartz from Denver who visited the Negev village during April with her husband Ian and three children Hilary, Shane and Noa.

Marsha came to Nitzana together with Ian to celebrate his 50th birthday. While in Israel she launched a fund in his honor together with the Ramat Hanegev Regional Council for the development of the region. The Gardenswartz Family are leading activists in the Denver/Boulder Jewish Federation and Marsha currently serves as the Federation's Event Planner. She is a former Director of the Federation's Israel Center and prior to this held many other positions in the Federation. During the visit, which was characterized by mutual warmth, gratitude and appreciation, the Gardenswartz Family learned about the latest developments at Nitzana and met with students and staff.
