Dear Friends,
During March we celebrated the Festival of Purim at Nitzana. And as we put on our masks and costumes to remember the Persian tyrant who tried to destroy us, we also unpacked our gas masks, acting on the instructions of the IDF's Home Guard, as the second Gulf War began. Back in 1991 it was during Purim that we packed away our gas masks at the end of that war, when so many missiles fell on Greater Tel Aviv and Haifa. Nitzana is far from Israel's populated centers and we pray that this time around the country will not be involved in this war.
