The Negev Flows With Water And Visitors From Colorado

Dear Friends,

December proved a remarkable month for Nitzana. Just as the winter rains, especially heavy this year, flooded the surrounding canyons and brought a promise of rampant growth in the Spring, so the region was also blessed with more than 100 visitors from the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado. In these difficult times such support and solidarity is deeply appreciated by Israelis and generates faith that better times are ahead. This profound Jewish optimism was also strengthened by Hanukkah, the festival of light, miracles and heroism against the odds, which was celebrated at Nitzana in the traditional way with soldiers serving in nearby bases.

  • Nitzana Hosts Colorado Mega-Mission (January 2004)
  • An Additional Visitor From Denver (January 2004)
  • Hanukkah At Nitzana Brings Together Soldiers, New Immigrants, Volunteers and Habad (January 2004)
  • Israeli Twelth Graders Converge on Nitzana (January 2004)

The Nitzana Educational Community is Partnered with the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado.
