Dear Friends,
Winter at Nitzana is a delightful season. The sun, which is more benign than in the rest of the year, shines most of the day, though the nights are very cold as freezing winds sweep through the desert's wide-open spaces. These cold nights and some heavy rain produce a beautiful array of desert flowers this time of year as we report on this month. Meanwhile it seems that there is another Nitzana residential village in a tropical rather than desert environment, set up in Colombia by former participants.
