Summer Camps And Solidarity Visits From American Friends
Dear Friends,
As summer draws to a close and the new academic year begins, Nitzana is taking in 108 new immigrants within the framework of the SELAH Science and KEDMA programs. Meanwhile, a busy season of summer camps comes to a close in which the village hosted hundreds of children and youth from the development towns of the Negev. Nitzana also bids farewell to 20 shin-shinim - volunteer students who took a year-off between high school and the army to work at the village. Youth Aliyah wished them a successful and safe military service and welcomes a new group of volunteers.
Nitzana, Youth Aliyah and the Jewish Agency wish the members of the Denver and Boulder Jewish communities and all those involved in the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado a happy, prosperous and peaceful New Year and success in all the endeavors that they undertake.
