Vital Assistance For Soldiers

  
Sergei O., 22, a new immigrant soldier in the IDF has received a $2,000 grant from the Denver/Boulder Jewish Federation's fund for needy soldiers. Sergei, a SELAH graduate of Nitzana is married to Yelena, also a new immigrant and graduate of SELAH Nitzana, and they have a young daughter Victoria. The grant will provide them with vital economic assistance in building their new lives and family in Israel. There are 10 other candidates for this assistance who are interviewed and selected by social workers at the Ramat HaNegev Regional Council. Each one of them will receive a grant of nearly $1,000.
