IFCJ Increases Funding for Ben Yakir

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews ( IFCJ) – Ha’Keren Le’Yedidut, which last year became a strategic partner of Ben Yakir, has significantly increased its already very substantial  financial support for the village. The additional donation enabled Ben Yakir to increase its student intake by an additional 30 students during the 2005/06 school year.

“ In return for our contribution,” explained Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, World President of IFCJ when he visited the school recently, “ we ask that you children be happy and proud that you are part of Israel and the Jewish people.”

During May IFCJ also donated a pair of Nike training shoes to each of the 150 students studying at Ben Yakir.
