Boris Visoki, a recent immigrant from the Former Soviet Union, spent the last six years studying at the Jewish Agency Ben Yakir Youth Village in northern Israel and has now enlisted for basic training in the Israeli Army.
Boris started out as an outstanding student who excelled in his studies and was also very involved in the social activities run at the Ben Yakir Youth Village. More recently, he became the official photographer at Ben Yakir. Every event, celebration or visit by donors was documented by Boris’ photographs.
Boris obtained professional photographic equipment and all his pictures are professional quality. His goal, however, is to study electronics. Boris hopes to enroll in an officers training course in the IDF and serve as an officer in the field of electronics, as well as to continue leading a traditional Jewish lifestyle. At present, Boris still resides in the soldiers’ residence at the Ben Yakir Youth Village.
