During the last week, we held a camp in Ben Yakir, serving 35 boys of all ages.
The camp was a combination of studies, sports activities and different attractions.
During the week, the boys learned about the holiday and Pesach rituals with the school principal, Rabbi Natan Gutman.
Aftewards they held sports activities - both in the sports facilities in the village and outside - professional bike riding and field trips in the region.
The boys went to see a soccer game of Maccabi Haifa, took a trip to the safari in Ramat Gan, and enjoyed a 3D movie at the cinema.
During the camp, some of the boys volunteered in packing food baskets for families in need in the city of Hadera. You couldn't miss the great satisfaction they experienced with the joy of giving.
Each of the boys went home with food certificates for his family - gift of the Lefkowitz family from New York and donors of the Spirit of Israel - plus some wine and matzot, and most important - with a big smile on their face!
Hag Sameach!
