In an exciting educational framework, they are connected to the continuum of their Jewish heritage and to one another. We are also a funding and operating partner with birthright israel - a pivotal program built on the premise that every Jewish youth has a universal birthright to experience the Jewish homeland. Through birthright, young adults ages 18-26 participate in free, 10-day peer trips to Israel. In countries where the organized Jewish community is unable to contribute its share of the funding, the Jewish Agency subsidizes ont-thirs of the total cost of the trip. Short-term experiences are effective catalysts for the next step: long-term Israel journeys.
