. Educator's Note on the Unit
This unit has a number of goals. It is, of course, impossible - and also unnecessary - to study all the material. Different students / participants will emphasize those goals which they consider relevant.
The goals in the previous unit (immigration policies and legislation in different countries) were more abstract, distant, and primarily educational. In consequence, student emotional involvement was relatively low-key. This unit, however, demands a considerable degree of emotional and value-related involvement, which may well hamper critical, rational, and open-minded scrutiny. It is therefore recommended that participants focus initially on familiarizing themselves with the Law of Return, including the changes made to the primary legislation as well as the implementation of ordinances issued over the past decades, prior to moving into the debate or any escalation of argument.

Remember - the route to follow is:
Collect information before you decide! Please read and study the facts before adopting a position! Hear out the other side before entering debate!
