Real Lemonade with Fresh Mint

2 or 3 lemons
1 liter of water
6 tbsp sugar, dissolved
Lemon concentrate (optional)
Large sprigs of washed garden mint (not woody)

You can actually make this refreshing drink without the mint if you prefer, adding more lemon juice; it takes a night in the refrigerator for all the flavor to come through.

1. Chop and blend one lemon or juice it if you have no blender. Put into a jug.

2. Finely slice the other lemon and add with the dissolved sugar.

3. Add some extra lemon or lemon juice, especially if you juiced a lemon.

4. Fill the jug with water and taste. Adjust the sugar if necessary.

5. Add the mint and refrigerate.
