The Jewish Agency for Israel partners with communities and institutions across North America on widening and deepening the engagement with Israel, in particular for young Jews. Our Shlichim or Israeli educators are at the center of our mission. Working in a wide variety of educational and communal settings, these shlichim provide a living bridge to Israel, engage thousands of young Jews with Israeli life and society and provide a critical resource for Israel education, engagement and advocacy. There are over 300 Shlichim in North America, working on University campuses, at Federations, in schools and Jewish Community Centers, in synagogues and with youth movements. 	Amir Lev Amir Lev is the Israel Fellow at the Hillel in University of California at San Diego. He was born in Columbia and returned to Israel with his parents at the age of 2.


	Barak Loozon Barak Loozon is the Director for young adult engagement for Israel at the Israel Center of the Jewish community federation in San Francisco and the Community Shaliach to the San Francisco Jewish


	Dana Elkis Los Angeles - Dana Elkis is the Young Shlicha for Hatzofim- the Israeli Scouts in Los Angeles, where she works as a coordinator and director of the Tzabar Shnat Sherut Program.


	Elad Lerech Elad Lerech is the Young Community Shaliach in Sacramento, California. Elad was born and raised in Haifa. Elad has a BA in Communications from Netanya Academic College.


	Elay Oren Elay Oren is the youth movement Shaliach of Habonim Dror in Los Angeles. He was born and raised in Herzliya.


	Erez Shachar Erez Shachar is the Israel Fellow at the Hillel of the University of California at Santa Cruz. He grew up in Beer-Sheva and served as a combat medic in a special intelligence unit in the IDF.


	Gershon Celniker Gershon Celniker is the Israel Fellow at Hillel in Silicon Valley in San Jose, California. He was born in Russia and raised in Israel, serving in the Israeli Air Force as a flight control instructor.


	Gila Hashkes Gila Hashkes is the Israel Fellow at the University of California at Berkeley.


	Guy Bershadsky Guy Bershadsky is the Israel Fellow at the University of California-Davis and UC-Sacramento. He was born in Haifa and then served in the Israeli Air Force for his army service.


	Ido Adulami Ido Adulami is the Israel Fellow at Hillel of University of Southern California. He was born and grew up in Tel Aviv, but spent his summers in Europe at private schools.


	Irin Kutman Irin Kutman is the Shlicha for the San Francisco Russian-speaking community. She was born in the city of Minsk, Belarus and in 1990 at the age of 8 together with her family made Aliya to Israel.


	Itzik Yarkoni Itzik Yarkoni is the Israel Fellow at UC-Irvine in Orange County, California. He was born and raised in Bat-Yam. Itzik received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Sapir College in Sderot.


	Nadav Savai Nadav Savai is the Israel Fellow at the Hillel at Stanford. He grew up in Haifa and was very involved in the Israeli Scouts.


	Oded Oron Los Angeles - Oded Oron is the Israel Fellow at the UCLA Hillel. He was born and raised in Ra'anana. He has a BA in Political Science and Communications from Bar-Ilan University.


	Shlomo Mirvis Los Angeles - Shlomo Mirvis is the Shaliach to Bnei Akiva in Los Angeles, part of his shlichut is Aliyah and Education.


	Shoshi Bogush San Diego - Shoshi Bogush is the Community Shlicha at the United Jewish Federation of San Diego. Shoshi was born and reared in Jerusalem and is currently raising her family in Jerusalem.


	Sigal Rosenblit Sigal Rosenblit is the Israel Fellow at the UC Santa Barbara, California.


	Uria Roth Uria Roth is the Shaliach for USY in Los Angeles, California. Uria was born and raised in Kiryat Ata and for the last few years has been living in Jerusalem.


	Yael Bleiberg Irvine - Yael Bleiberg is the Young Shlicha for the Israeli Scouts (Tzofim) of Orange County, California, where she works as a troop leader.


	Yehuda Setton Yehuda Setton is the friend of Israel Scouts Shaliach to the Southwest region. He is married to Michal and father of Tavor, (4 month). He was born and raised in Bat-Yam.
