Top notch educators, outstanding academics, and central community leaders came together for two days in Manhattan to wrestle with the place of Israel in North American Jewish life. The conversations were sponsored by Makom as a way to both evaluate Makom's work and consider springboards towards future endeavors. The high level, openness, and commitment of the TPT participants substantially enriched the Makom network and its efforts. Makom staff shared the recently translated issues of Eretz Aheret as another content initiative aimed at raising the level of the Israel discourse. The Eretz Aheret translations are part of Makom's  commitment to produce educational materials that are thought provoking, up-to-date, and relevant to North American audiences.
