The Israel Aliyah Center, an affiliate of the Jewish Agency for Israel, is the official arm of the Israeli government assisting North American Jews in Making Aliyah to Israel.
For close to 40 years, the Israel Aliyah Center (IAC) has served as a storehouse of Israel-related information and an Aliyah launch pad, helping thousands of North American olim of every age realize their “Aliyah dreams.” As an affiliate of The Jewish Agency for Israel, the IAC assists Jewish individuals and families make informed decisions about their immigration to Israel by providing them with detailed and relevant information regarding their employment opportunities, educational options for their children, choices in community and lifestyle, housing options, and health coverage and facilities. Potential olim can also take advantage of several services offered by the IAC, including Aliyah orientations and support groups, pilot trips, and assistance with travel expenses and Income Tax benefits.
So as to promote a stronger connection with the land of Israel among American Jewish youth, the IAC created the Israel Program Center (IPC), an assortment of long and short-term programs for young men and women ages 18 to 37. IPC programs include Magen David Adom Ambulance Volunteers and Firefighters for Israel Volunteers, Kibbutz Ulpan, and the Professional Internship and Otzma Jewish Leadership Programs. The IPC also offers fully-subsidized high school (grades 10-12), undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate studies in Israel.
