Possibly the most important tool in a successful absorption into Israeli society is the ability to speak Hebrew. Although every Oleh Chadash is entitled to a free Ulpan upon Aliyah, any study that can be done in advance is highly recommended. Classes are often available on College Campuses, in synagogues or in your local JCC.
