Masa’s hundreds of programs represent several themes, or tracks:
MasaGo!: MasaGo! offers 6- and 8-week short-term programs in Israel designed to provide a meaningful and structured experience, and can serve as a gateway to longer Masa programs.
Masa Volunteers: Masa Volunteers offers 6-week programs for young adults ages 18-40 that connect fellows with meaningful volunteer opportunities across Israel. Fellows can train as EMTs with Magen David Adom, support agricultural communities, mentor children, or contribute to humanitarian aid efforts, serving where they are needed most.
Masa Remote: Masa Remote offers programs that allow Fellows to continue their remote work while living in Israel. The program provides access to professional development opportunities, exposure to the Israeli job market, and a community of young professionals.
Ulpan (Hebrew Studies): Masa Ulpan offers both 6-week and 5-month Hebrew language programs in Israel, with options to study on a kibbutz or in a Tel Aviv–based program. Fellows engage in intensive Hebrew study while participating in volunteer opportunities as part of a structured program.
Masa Career: Masa Career offers Fellows the opportunity to gain international, on-the-job experience. Masa places Fellows in internships and paid job opportunities with leading Israeli companies and government organizations.
Masa Gap: Masa Gap offers college-bound high school graduates the opportunity to gain a global perspective and a taste of independent living while having a meaningful and memorable experience.
Masa Israel Teaching Fellows (MITF): MITF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, aims to make the English language accessible to Israeli children in the socio-economic periphery by giving them a strong foundation in spoken English.
Masa Academic Fellows: Masa Academic Fellows spend a semester or year studying in Israel and earn college credit.
Masa Teen Journey: Beginning in the summer of 2022, Masa is making the Masa experience available to teens. Masa Teen Journey offers experiences from 6–8 weeks up to one year. These programs allow Fellows to travel, learn and experience Israel firsthand with a focus on leadership, personal growth, and impactful volunteering.
Masa Internships: Masa places Jewish college students and graduates in a large variety of highly coveted, exclusive internships with leading Israeli companies and government organizations. Masa interns live in Israel for 4–6 months and gain valuable internship experience that is directly relevant to their industry.
Jewish Studies: Masa Jewish Studies programs range from interdisciplinary studies in Israel’s top universities to Torah and Talmud instruction in Israel’s leading yeshivas and seminaries.
