- Ranks 5 out of 10 on the socioeconomic scale (according to the National Bureau of Statistics)
- 2,437 local residents are in need (according to the local Department of Welfare)
- 4,179 children are immigrants, 654 of which are in need (according to the local Department of Social Services)
- 5,368 children and youth are registered in regional educational frameworks:
