Community Projects to Restore the North - Metulla

Metulla

Facts about the community:

  • Was founded in 1896 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild
  • Current population: 1,400, including 502 children and youth (ages 0-19)
  • Ranks 8 out of 10 on the socioeconomic scale (according to the National Bureau of Statistics)
  • 155 children are registered in elementary school
  • An Olympic-size ice-skating rink and sports center serve as the community's main tourist attraction

As part of its mission to rebuild the Galilee and restore vibrant communities across the region, the Jewish Agency seeks your support to repair and renovate the following community buildings:
