Summer Camp Retreat at Hadassah Neurim |

In the framework of the "Moving Our Children to Safety" campaign, immigrant children from Jewish Agency absorption centers in Safed have been moved far away from the line of fire and are attending a Jewish Agency summer camp. 133 children from the Tzahal 9 Absorption Center and 46 children from the Canaan Absorption Center are staying at the Hadassah Neurim Youth Aliya Village.

The camp offers a wide range of activities that keep the children busy, continuously, from 7:00 in the morning till 11:00 at night. Activities include learning, amusement parks, trips, special performances, and swimming every day.
The Jewish Agency has allotted phones for the children, with the express purpose of affording them to speak daily with their parents who are staying at the Safed absorption centers.
The parents come to visit their children at Hadassah Neurim at least twice a week.
All this is well worthwhile, since it helps to reduce the children's fears and anxieties.
Special thanks to both the Bnei Akiva volunteers who are active in the project and Jewish Agency employees who have been spending their days and nights with the children at the camp.
This is the essence of the beauty of Israel.
