A group from the Mount Zion Synagogue in St. Paul came on a tour of Israel. Rabbi Adam Spilker, the congregation leader, organizes occasional tours to Israel, and devotes a special part of the visit to Sovev Kinneret. The families were hosted for dinner by partnership volunteers, and the next day included a visit to Jordan River Village.
One of the families wrote to their hosts, "We so enjoyed meeting you and thank you so much for the wonderful meal and hospitality. The time we spent visiting was so fun and time flew as we talked. We surprised the rabbi upon our late return and he was pleased that we had such a great evening”.
