Esteemed Steering Committee members
Jewish Agency representatives
Distinguished Israeli and overseas partners
Program coordinators and professional staff – partners in our endeavor
Volunteers and those involved in our work in the community
My term as chair of Partnership2Gether Kiryat Malachi– Hof Ashkelon is now approaching its end, after four years in the post.
Over the course of these years I was involved in decision-making about the various programs active in our region; I oversaw the projects operated in the partnership framework and the Steering Committee that stood by me throughout this period.
During my tenure I got to know wonderful people, with whom I worked jointly to advance the programs and the special partnership that developed between us and the Tucson, Phoenix and Seattle Partnership family.
I would like to welcome the incoming P2G chair – Yitzhak Amar – and wish him success in the post.
Yitzhak, I'm here for you and prepared to keep helping in any way that I can.
I'm grateful to Andrea, Eitan, Tzachi and Adi, and to Ira, my partners in Jewish Agency activity, for all the trust that you placed in me and for your dedication along the way.
Thanks to Joan and Dina, for leading the partnership together with me during these years, and for the wonderful friendship that sprang up between us.
Thanks to all of the community leaders, partners, professionals, and volunteers in the West Coast communities for their role in making this partnership a regional asset.
Thanks to all of the professional staff in Kiryat Malachi and Hof Ashkelon for their devoted efforts and for the sense of mission that informs those efforts.
Special thanks to my friends Dvora and Revital, for their hard work and for holding up under the heavy load. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with you.
And last but not least, I would like to express my gratitude, appreciation and esteem for all of the Steering Committee volunteers and activists who answered every call, stood with me resolutely and labored tirelessly – for Shalom, Eddi, Talia, Moriah, Amalia, Nava, Rami, Roni, and Adina.
I am stepping down as chair, but I am not bidding farewell to the Partnership family, which holds a special place in my heart.
I will continue to help in every way possible and will mobilize for whatever activity I can.
This is a difficult time for all of us, a time of tension and war; our region is experiencing it first-hand. Let us express our shared wish for a restoration of tranquility, for an end to the emergency situation and for a return to routine.
With appreciation and esteem,
