The Jewish Agency mourns the passing of former Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon.
JERUSALEM – Chairman of the Executive of The Jewish Agency Natan Sharansky and the organization's leadership and employees in Israel and around the world mourn the passing of former Prime Minister of Israel Ariel Sharon.

Ariel Sharon uttered the timeless phrase, "I am a Jew first and an Israeli second." He invested tremendous effort in strengthening Jewish identity, increasing Aliyah (immigration to Israel), and combating anti-Semitism around the world.
May his memory be a blessing.
