Adam Joseph is married to Miriam Joseph and proud father of two girls, Ellie and Maya. From 1998 to 2002 Adam worked for a large Toronto-based national law firm where he focused on corporate finance transactions and worked with US Film and Television Companies. In 2000 Adam was sent on secondment to a large U.S. Film Studio in Los Angeles, California. Since 2002 Adam has worked in real estate development law at Joseph & O’Donoghue LLP where he is a partner. Since 2015 Adam has been a member of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto’s Israel and Overseas Committee. From 2014 to 2017 Adam served as Chair of UJA’s Israel Engagement Committee with a focus on building an Israel engaged community through the provision of experiential education, professional development, and institutional change strategies in order to create a diverse, real, and sophisticated understanding of Israel and its many roles in Jewish life. From 2011 to 2014 Adam served as the initial volunteer chair of UJA Federation’s ShinShinim Committee overseeing UJA’s ShinShinim Program and its role as a mechanism for the delivery of new and innovative Israel-focused educational content and programming throughout the City of Toronto. Adam was a past member of UJA Federation’s Social Services Task Force where he assisted in maintaining UJA Federation’s relationships with partner social service agencies. Adam is an active member of Canada’s largest Conservative synagogue, Beth Tzedec Congregation, where he has served as a member of Beth Tzedec’s strategic planning committee and Co-Chaired Beth Tzedec’s Family and Festivals Committee. From 2003 to 2009 Adam was a member of the Board of Directors of Jewish Family and Child and in 2008 Adam Co-Chair’s Jewish Family and Child’s Resource Development Committee.
