Adv. Orit Noked Member of the Board of Governors
Adv. Orit Noked was born in Israel in 1952 and lives in Kibbutz Shefayim. She is a member of the Israeli Bar Association since 1977. Academic Degrees: LL.B. (Law), the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel 1976.
Today, Ms. Noked leads the Agriculture Department in Balter, Guth, Aloni & Co. (BGA) which is one of the largest law firms in Israel. In addition, she is a strategic adviser in Eran agribusiness Group.
She is a Member of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors since June 2014.
2011 – 2013 – Israeli Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
2009 – 2011 – Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor.
2005 – Deputy Minister of Development of the Negev and the Galilee.
2002 – 2013 – Member of the Knesset. As such, member of the Finance Committee; member in the Committee for the appointment of Judges; member of Education, Culture and Sports Committee; member in the Labor, Welfare and Health Committee; and in the Committee on the Status of Women.
1997 – 2002 – Director and Legal Advisor of the Legal Department of the United Kibbutz Movement. Board Member of the following organizations: the Directorate of the Jewish National Fund; Board of Lands Authority; Member of Secretariat of Agricultural Association; Member of the Company Administration Nir Collaboration; and Member of Directorate of Arbitration Institute of Kibbutz Movement.
1984 – 1997 - Ms. Noked served as Legal Advisor to the Kibbutz Movement.
1977-1983 – Lawyer in private practice.
