Martine Fleishman has dedicated her time to the Jewish communal arena, tirelessly promoting Israel, Jewish engagement, Jewish leadership and Jewish and Israel education as well as human rights and social justice. Martine holds a graduate certificate in Non Profit management and leadership. Her leading roles have included: President of The Jewish Education Project, Regional Chair of UJA Westchester, President of UJA Federation’s Women’s Philanthropy-overseeing a $29,000,000 campaign; President of Westchester Hillel. A current Cabinet member of the Jewish Life Department of UJA NY and past member of the COJP and Network Department She is currently a board member of The Jewish Agency, JAFINA, JFNA, OLAM, Repair the World, The Jewish Communal Fund, The American Jewish Committee National board and Chair of the board of The Jewish Education Project. An advocate for Israel experiences, Martine has served on the MASA North American committee, on the Taglit Birthright Westchester council and now serves on RootOne Steering committee as well as the steering committee of Mosaic United, an NGO of the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs.

Martine is a Wexner Heritage graduate. She was a recipient of UJC’s Jesselson Young Leadership Award, the Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Lion of Judah award and co-chaired UJA Federation of NY’s Rosenwald 90thAnniversary Mission to Israel. A past Trustee at the Leffell School of Westchester (formerly Solomon Schechter) where her 3 now adult children attended day school. In her spare time, she enjoys her grandchildren, family life, friends, entertaining, exercise, Jewish study and travel.
