Sharon Janks serves as a Vice Chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and is the immediate past General Campaign Chair. She is a trustee of the Board of Jewish Federations of North America, serves as their Chair of the Prime Ministers Council and is a member of the National Women’s Philanthropy Advisory Council.

Previously she served on the Steering Committee for the Federations Tel Aviv/Los Angeles Partnership and as Chair of the Federations Women’s Campaign. She is a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Foundation and served on the United Jewish Committees Young Leadership Cabinet where she held various positions including Mission Campaign Chair.

Sharon has been on the Board of Governors since 2008.
