June 6 - 11, 2017 (not including travel time) Building Stronger Bridges for Our Educators

A Special Development Experience for our Teachers

  • VISIT—the top attractions in the Western Galilee; Druze and Arab villages, Safed, Akko, the first ever holocaust museum.
  • INTERACT—with your Israeli partners, meet lone soldiers and partnership volunteers.
  • EXPERIENCE—Israel and the Western Galilee with all your senses and in a unique and meaningful way.
  • CONTRIBUTE—in Tikun Olam projects and develop connections with Israeli educators by collaborating together.
The PARTNERSHIP2GESHER Teachers’ Delegation is your opportunity, as an educator, to learn, experience, and observe the Israeli educational system and explore the potential for an enriching and beneficial twinning relationship for you and your students. Joining Israeli educators and volunteers, along with others from our U.S. Consortium, you will have a unique and satisfying experience.
The Western Galilee is well known for its microcosm of Israeli society; not only because of the diverse cultures and people, but also for its juxtaposition between the past and future. The fascinating history and rich cultural heritage of the region provide pathways to create new, innovative educational initiatives. Join us as we walk together as educators on the gesher (bridge) of the past and future — between various cultures and populations. Your contribution will build a stronger bridge between Israel and the U.S. by creating new connections and strengthening existing ones.
