Nativ: Jewish Heritage Education for Immigrant Soldiers is an inclusive Jewish Zionist education program for those immigrant soldiers in the IDF who have tenuous connections to their Jewish background and identity.
Thousands of immigrant soldiers participate each year in an enriched 7-week program of learning, traveling through Israel, and sharing in observance of Shabbat and Jewish holidays.
Nativ provides immigrant soldiers with a warm, welcoming way to connect to their Jewish heritage.
The course also includes an optional extended conversion course for alumni - which the overwhelming majority of Nativ alumni choose to join.
