Name of entrepreneurs: Yossi and Dor Ben Yishai
Place of residence: Be’er Sheva
Name of business: Josepha – Italian Pizza Restaurant
Type of investment: Constructing and opening an Italian-style pizza outlet
Location: BIG Shopping Mall, Be’er Sheva
Prior to opening Josepha, Yossi was the manager of the Be’er Sheva branch of the Roladin café chain, and Dor managed the local Arabika restaurant. But they had a dream: to bring the world of Italian pizza to Be’er Sheva. They’d tried all the locally-available brands, and missed the taste and texture of real Italian pizza, pizza that brings to mind the piazza in Rome.
Upon creating a business plan they realized they had the means and experience to turn their dream into a reality, and embarked on their quest to provide Be’er Sheva with the flavors and aromas of Italy.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
Josepha is an Italian pizza restaurant that offers a range of flavors never before witnessed in Be’er Sheva, such as pineapple and chili, or charred pepper with Bulgarian cheese. Pizzas are square and sold by weight, with the choices of toppings changing weekly.
While Dor manages production and Yossi manages sales and marketing, a professional chef creates the menu and prepares the pizzas and sauces fresh every day. On any given day, there is a choice of 10 to 12 different, unique varieties of pizza.
Josepha is located on the landscaped plaza of the BIG shopping mall; its location and design adds to the Italian ambiance. The staff is known for its high level of service and bonhomie.
Yossi and Dor would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Ness Foundation, which greatly helped them to turn their dream into a reality, and enabled them to open their unique business that brings the flavors and style of Europe to the boulevard at the BIG Center in the heart of Be’er Sheva.
