Showing trends in Antisemitism for the year 2010

With the participation of Minister of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs Yuli Edelstein , Chairman of the Jewish Agency(JAFI) Natan Sharansky and Chairman of JAFI Taskforce on Antisemitism, Amos Hermon

A special press conference in Hebrew, summarizing the Antisemitic incidents which took place around the world during the year 2010, will take place on Sunday January 23rd 2011 at 1:30pm at the Jewish Agency headquarters 48 King George Street, Jerusalem.

In attendance will be the Minister of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs Yuli Edelstein, Chairman of the Jewish Agency(JAFI) Natan Sharansky, and Amos Hermon, Chairman of the JAFI Task Force on Antisemitism.

The press conference will be held immediately following the Israeli cabinet discussion being held on the subject.

At the press conference, trends characterizing the Antisemitic incidents which occurred in the last year will be presented as well as special initiatives taken within the framework of the struggle against Antisemitism.

The event is being held during the week of January 27th, the day which marks around the world the struggle against Antisemitism and the commemoration of the Holocaust, being the day the Auschwitz death camp was liberated.

The press conference will take place this Sunday, the 23rd of January 2011, at 1:30pm at the Jewish Agency headquarters 48 King George Street, Jerusalem.
