1- Introduction

The following guideline is intended to help the remote user to get the best use of its VideoConference (VC) system.

You will find the minimum suggested list of equipment required for VC and the basics in how to set your system with tips on how to operate it efficiently.

2- Technical Requirement on Location for an ISDN or IP  based System

 List of Equipment

• 1 VideoConference System (Polycom/Tandberg/Vcon/Sony etc...)
• 1 TV 19" or XGA Monitor or Projector with Screen
• 1 Set of Adapters and cables

For ISDN Users

• 3 ISDN Interface Boxes for total of 384 Kbps
   (Order lines from your Local Phone Company)

For IP Users:

• IP network such as DSL modem  with 256k uplink and above or T1 line.
