  • Shinshinim - Young Emissaries to Cleveland

    The Shin-Shinim (participants of the one year Shlichut) are high school graduates from Israel who serve for a year in Jewish communities around the world. Through various activities, in schools, Jewish institutes and events, participants bring their Israel and their story to the community. For the community it is a way to give Israel a face and get to know it from another point of view; for the young Shlichim it is a life-changing experience.

    The Zamir Choral Foundation, created by Matthew Lazar, promotes Jewish choral music as a vehicle to inspire Jewish life, culture and continuity.

    A group of volunteers from Cleveland arrives to the Beit Shean region for a couple weeks every winter to teach English to local residents and get to know the region.

  • Ambassadors for Unity-Diller Teen Fellows

    A women's delegation of women from the Beit Shean Region, with specialists in ethnic home cooking, brought scents of Israel and the Partnership region to Cleveland. Age Group:Women 30-50

  • Community Connections -School Twinning

    The program enables direct connections between children, youth, and adults from the Region and from Cleveland.

  • Birthright/Taglit in Beit Shean

    A Cleveland Birithright/Taglit delegation visited the region and became familiar with the culture and Jewish heritage through direct contact with local residents who provided home hospitality.

  • Youth Futures - Beit Shean-Valley Of Springs

    The program serves nearly 10,000 youth in 32 localities, primarily in the Negev and Galilee. The innovative Youth Futures model is based on "Trustees" – some 300 young adult Israeli social pioneers – who work full time to build a strong relationship with children and their parents..
