The Bike trip was a great success. It was inspiring and uplifting to see Jon Klein's and Yehuda Peled's posts on Facebook, read their kind words and see Israel through their eyes. It was a different way to see the country, get to know people from our Partnership, as well as people from the rest of Israel and even a few from other countries in Europe.

During four intensive days, from October 21st to October 24th, participants rode through hills and mountains, valleys and winding roads and experienced Israel in a unique way. Seven bikers arrived from the U.S. from our partner communities of Louisville, North West Indiana and Indianapolis to join four bikers from the Western Galilee and about 20 from the rest of Israel. They started the trip in Rosh Hanikra, continued to the Golan Heights and ended in Eilat.

One of our participants, Morris Rosenzweig wrote: "The ride itself was exhilarating, more importantly it formed a closer bond to Israel and its diverse society than any of the previous visits I've had. The group leaders ... made sure everyone was secure. The technical support was also superb. I hope very much that your organization will continue to support this invaluable endeavor. I certainly very much look forward to repeating the tour".
