Family Missions in Afula-Gilboa

In addition to larger officially organized missions, Afula-Gilboa has had the privilege to host visits from individuals and families over the past years. These visits are largely made possible by the existence of the Partnership Guest House on Kibbutz Yizreel.

In December, Ron and Wendy Novick with their children and extended family members have visited us in honor of their daughter, Liora's, Bat Mitzvah. Liz and Joel Baker and their children have also visited us in Afula-Gilboa. Liz and Joel have been a host family for the young emissaries in Worcester and have continued to be in contact with the young emissaries and their families. The Albert Family Mission also visited Afula-Gilboa with their own bus filled with 16 family members including three generations: the grandparents Bert and Sylvia, their children Eric, Jonathan and Debbie with their spouses, Jen, Rachel and David respectively and their children. The children ranged in age from 15 to 20 months. In addition Eric's oldest daughter Lindsay was at the same time participating in the Mifgashim program in Afula-Gilboa.
