Since their return from Israel this past spring, Claire Bisgay, Marjorie Cohen, and Judy Felmeister, three retired teachers, have welcomed every opportunity to talk about their experience volunteering at a school in Arad. The Kama Community is a community living in Beersheba in a manner similar to that of an urban kibbutz. Today the community is choosing whether to continue to live in Beersheba or to move to Arad. They came to Arad for a tour to get to know the city.  more

During the month of July two groups of students came to Arad to tour and learn about the city, and to examine the option for future settlement in the city. The first group was a group from the Choosing Tomorrow program, and the second was the Kama Community group.  more
