Between dancing the hokey pokey, writing fairy tales, and leading field trips to the grocery store - all with the aim of teaching English - Cleveland's Engliyada volunteers lost their hearts in Israel.
For two two-week sessions this June and July, the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland sent 12 volunteers to teach English to adults in Beit She'an, Cleveland's Partnership 2000 community.
