Thirty Participants Complete Local Environmental Course

The course, an initiative of the Israeli Centre for Local Sustainability of the Heschel Center for Environmental Learning & Leadership, was designed to provide municipal and regional council employees and decision makers with a greater understanding of environmental issues in general and specifically those affecting life in Israel.  more

A Tribute to Mickey Blumberg

The Partnership paid tribute to Mrs. Miriam (Mickey) Blumberg on December 16th at the Maaleh HaHamisha Hotel, with music, food, candle lighting and an exhibition created for her. This event marked the end of her official capacity as a Community Representative due to budget cuts from Keren HaYesod.  more

 

 

Another Successful P2K Women's Business Course is Completed

Eighteen women from the region recently completed a course offered by P2K in business development. The course met once a week for ten weeks and used a system of instruction together with personal coaching, a method that has blossomed in the past few years. more

Success for the Employment Unit Headed by City Council Member Rabbi Yeshayahu Ehrenreich

Only about three months have passed since City Council member Rabbi Yeshayahu Ehrenreich began heading the Employment Unit of the Beit Shemesh Municipality. Currently, over 1,000 people have registered on the Employment Unit database in the last two months, and dozens of local residents have already found work and are making a good living.  more
